For me, shooting a wedding (or any other shoot) is about so much more than getting 'insta worthy' or perfect images. Connection, love and storytelling is what drew me to weddings and something I aim to capture at every single wedding or shoot that I capture.
Because of this I try to take a fly of the wall, non-obtrusive approach to everything I document. I like to photography things as they unfold. Whether you are just chilling drinking beers with your mates, having your bridesmaids apply deodorant for you or the first time that your nearest and dearest see you. I really believe that it is this mish-mash of small moments that really contribute to the story of your wedding day.
There is just something very special about being a wedding photographer. You get to photograph the most beautiful weddings at the most beautiful wedding venues. The bride and the groom will never look more beautiful/handsome. This is probably the most you will ever spend on a dress, suit, make-up artist and hair stylist. You will probably never be in a better mood on any other given day
This will probably be the biggest party you will ever host.. and we get to photograph all of this! Can you see why we think we have the top job in the world? I must confess, I am an incurable romantic at heart, I love seeing people in love! And you never see people more in love than on their wedding day. Won’t is be nice to have a wedding photographer that is just as excited about your wedding day as you are?
